Mac Lipstick Collection πŸ’„

I currently have thirteen Mac lipsticks, so i thought I'd let you know which ones i have, which ones i like, which ones i don't like, and tell you a little bit about the lipsticks...

Velvet Teddy- I think pretty much everyone knows what shade Velvet Teddy is because there was a whole craze about it when it was supposedly an exact dupe for Kim Kardashian's browny/ nude lip she always use to wear. But Velvet Teddy is a browny/orangey/ nude it is such a beautiful colour, probably my go to lip colour when i don't really know what lipstick to wear because it is just so wearable.

Stone- Stone is a darker muted greyish sort of taupe brown coloured grungey lip shade, its a matte formula so lasts really well on the lips without being too drying. However stone isn't an everyday shade for me, i only really wear it if I've done a really dark grungey make up look.

Kinda Sexy- Kinda sexy is a lot more orange in person that what it looks on the website, the website describes it to be a pinky rose colour. However it is definitely much more of an orange/ brown than  a pink, i don't really wear this lipstick much as i always reach for Velvet Teddy instead which is a shame as this is a lovely colour.

Creme D'Nude- Is a very nude shade, its a sort of muted really pale beige colour. When i first got it i used to wear it all the time, but i haven't worn it for a while now as i much prefer more browny and pinky nudes. The formula of this lipstick is a cremesheen so it isn't drying on the lip at all.

Nippon- Is a coral pink sort of colour, i do really like this lipstick and i do wear it sometimes but it isn't my absolute go to lipstick but it is still a really pretty shade and i do really like the colour.

New York Apple- This lipstick is a sort of red with a pink shimmer too it, its a frost so i think you need to really apple a few layers to get it to look like the colour it actually is because it is so streaky if you only apply it once but then that is because it is only a frost formula. But the colour is a really different and pretty colour once its applied with a few layers.

Sweetie- is an ultra pink lipstick, really nice in the summer because it is quite a pink lipstick i wouldn't describe it in anyway as being a nudey pink, it is definitely proper pink, its a lustre so its not to dry but not to creamy.

Speed dial- Is a really vibrant light pink shade, my sister actually bought me this shade as my first ever Mac lipstick, i wore it a few times when she first got it for me. But it is a vibrant sort of hot pink colour, so its not something i could or would wear everyday, it's a cremesheen formula. I only really still have this lipstick because it holds a sentimental value to me.

Viva Glam II - Is a muted pinky beige colour, i really like this lipstick i do wear it quite a lot. Just like Velvet Teddy, i find Viva Glam II to be a really lovely colour, i wear it on a regular basis and i love the finish because it is a satin lipstick it feels really creamy on the lips.

Odyssey- Is a dark plum sort of colour, again it is a frost so it needs a few layers to look nice and actually look the colour it really is. I do love this colour, but again i do only really wear it with a darker or more grungey makeup look.

Twig- Is a soft muted brownish pink colour, i love Twig. I used to wear it all the time and i do think it is a really pretty colour, it goes really nicely with a really simple makeup look with minimal eyeshadow and lots of highlighter, and it also goes really well with a full face of glam so its a really versatile lipstick. It is a satin formula, so again it feels really lovely on the lips.

Politely pink- Is literally your everyday pink shade, on my lips its just enough colour to be a little bit pinker and it be noticeable that your wearing lipstick. Its a really lovely shade for everyday as its easy to wear and looks really pretty without it being too in your face as some pinks are. The formula of this lipstick is a lustre.

All fired up- Is a bright fuchsia pinky/ red shade. It looks lovely with a simple makeup look, and i love to wear it in the summer because its really vibrant and really pops. It's a matte formula, so it stays on really well and isn't really drying on the lips.

Mac lipsticks currently retail at £16.50 which was actually news to me as the last time I've bought mac lipsticks they have always been £15.50, so clearly Mac must have changed prices recently and put the lipsticks up in price a little bit. I love Mac lipsticks, i love the formula, i love majority of the colours and i always have to pick up a new lipstick whenever i visit a Mac store.
