Hello again lovelies,
So today I'm going to speak about my holiday in Mallorca with my boyfriend Harvey. So we left to go on holiday on the 6th of July, we went to Mallorca for a week. We have been together for nearly 5 years, however this was only our second holiday together because we got together at a young age. So we were super excited for our second holiday together, and it definitely lived up to our expectations.
We stayed at the "Sol Palmanova Mallorca" which was literally only a 5-10 minute walk from Magaluf's main strip. The hotel is an all inclusive hotel, so we had everything included. The hotel was amazing, it was huge there was two parts of the hotel. We had a cute little room with a balcony, so we were super happy with that.
There was two big pools, and my boyfriend Harvey works Monday-Friday, so we wanted a really chilled out, relaxing holiday but near to things to do if we wanted too. We didn't actually do any excursions, because there wasn't really any that we were really interested in. We chilled by the pool everyday, and played in the pool (which was freezing by the way).
We had our breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and then we'd usually sit outside and wait for the entertainment and we'd watch that for a bit and then we'd go on a little walk outside the resort to find a little bar to have some cocktails in. So we pretty much went out for drinks every night, but we only went into Magaluf's actual strip one night.
The strip was interesting to say the least... Magaluf is very much a male dominated place there was loads more boys than there was girls. I preferred my nights out in Tenerife, because i just didn't really like Magaluf's strip. Me & Harv went in a few bars and had some drinks, then we walked back along the beach back to our hotel.
Most nights we got the most amazing cheese & bacon fries from this little man's shop near our hotel. He ended up knowing what we wanted by the middle of the week because we literally went every night... we have no shame!
Again Mallorca was a beautiful country, it was much hotter than Tenerife was but i think it's because there was a breeze in Tenerife, however in Mallorca there wasn't really a breeze and it was between 29-34 degrees everyday. There was loads of little supermarkets, shops and food places near our hotel. So we had a look round the shops and got some little souvenirs.
On our last day, we had to be out of the room by 12 but we didn't actually get picked up by the coach until 19:30 so we had the full day. I had looked online and seen that there was a Sephora, it was a 20 minute taxi journey away BUT any girl will understand when there's a Sephora you have to go. So we decided to go on our last day, we got a taxi there, but the taxi didn't drop us right outside so we ended up getting lost and walking around the town for about an hour and it was 35 degrees that day, so I'm sure you can imagine we were both a little bit grumpy...
Eventually we found it, it was amazing... i was in heaven. I got quite a few bits so i will haul them for you on a separate blog post and i will be uploading a Makeup Haul video onto my Youtube channel really soon as i got some makeup bits at the airport as well as in the Sephora. After we came out of Sephora we stumbled across a Zara so i went in and i actually got 3 tops, a set of chokers and a perfume so it was quite a successful day.
We then taxi'ed back to our hotel, had some dinner and then waited for our coach transfer to pick us up. We then did all the boring stuff at the airport, like going through security, passport control, etc. Then we flew home back to London Stansted, my dad actually came and picked us up as we landed at 00:55 so it was super late.
We had an amazing time, just relaxing, and chilling together. Now we're back in England and it's back to reality, I've just got a new job so will be working more than my old part time hours, and Harvey is back to his Monday-Friday job. So until next year I'm pretty sure all of my holidays are over now, which is sad. But i had an amazing time.
